Admission is open to all children of Indian Nationality on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
Admission is open for Classes : KG-1, Std -I to IX & XI.
The minimum age for admission to KG-1 is 3 years 8 months as on 31.03.2015
No relaxation in age will be considered for admission to KG-1 & Grade 1 even by a day.
Admission for KG-1, Std I – VIII is by draw of lots.
There will be no draw for Classes IX & XI. Admissions will be purely based on performance in the entrance test conducted by the School.
All admissions are subject to the approval of ADEC.
Registration is No Guarantee for Admission

Information to parents who have already registered their wards for Admission under Sibling Category for the Academic Year 2015-2016
Parents who have already registered under Sibling Category can use the same registration Number for Open Category and take the print out of the Registration Slip for validation and drop it in the draw box. Please note that you need not register again.

Kindly provide your personal email ID while doing the registration, as we send return mails in bulk, you might not receive the Registration slip in your official email ID.
School will not be responsible for incorrect Email ID’s & incomplete forms
Step 2 - Once you apply you will receive an acknowledge mail from us, which can be considered as the Registration slip.
If you are not receiving the registration slip within 2 days, kindly report to administration office, in person to sort out the issue.
Step 3 - Bring a copy of the Registration slip (email acknowledgement) and get the school stamp in the auditorium and drop in the Draw Box.
Step 4 - There will be a draw of lots on the below mentioned dates in the school auditorium.

Upon receipt of your ward’s Registration slip by email, please take a printout of the same.
The Registration slip has to be presented to the Staff at the school auditorium on 29.01.15 between 8.00am and 1pm to collect the Admit cards for the entrance tests.

Birth Certificate issued in UAE – Only Foreign Affairs (AUH) - (Applicable to children born in UAE).
Birth Certifcate issued outside UAE – (i) Notary (local District) (ii) Home Department - India (iii) Indian embassy - AUH (iv) Foreign Affairs - AUH.
Original TC &Report Card Attestation from STD I to XII ( after results)
Within AUH – only Abudhabi Educational Zone(ADEZ).
Outside AUH - (i) Zone of the particular Emirates (ii)ADEZ.
Outside UAE – (i) District Education officer of the particular syllabus (ii) Home Department (iii) Indian Embassy AUH (iv) Foreign Affairs AUH.
Admission stands cancelled if any of the above documents are not available at the time of Scrutiny.
After the Interview, balance of First Quarter school fees has to be paid by Cheque or Demand Draft in favour of ABU DHABI INDIAN SCHOOL.
Cash and Post Dated Cheques will NOT be accepted for school fees.Fees once paid will not be refunded. Accounts Counter closes at 2.45 pm on all working days.
If you wish to cancel the admission registration of your ward, submit a letter to Admission Incharge regarding the same.
Those children admitted during the academic year & wish to withdraw during the session, Transfer certificate will be issued only after the Ministry approval. The TC will be issued only upon payment of all pending school dues.
Notice to withdraw a pupil from the school must be submitted 15 days in advance in the prescribed TC form available in the website.
School provides transport facility on selected routes, which will be on availability of seats in the bus. School does not recommend any private transporters
All parents seeking admissions are required to fill the Medical Card and non prescribed Medication consent form issued by school, and submit copy of valid Emirates Identity card, Medical Insurance card and copy of Immunisation card to the Medical room.
