It is our sincere endeavor to light the fire of inquiry, commitment and zeal in the  young minds that step into our portals and help them chart their courses in life. We are dedicated to hone young children into becoming global citizens of the future. Being away from home, we enlighten and teach them to respect values that are inherently Indian, so that they remain connected to their native country. Our students also learn to respect the culture and values of the UAE since they enjoy the added advantage of being in a country that is close to home in more ways than one. Living in the UAE, in a multinational and multicultural milieu, they are exposed to the international community and learn what global citizenship is all about in simple ways. We are committed to impart quality education that is holistic in its perspective.  Well qualified and experienced staff are appointed to train and develop all kinds of skills among the students at various levels i.e. kindergarten, primary, middles, secondary and senior secondary.  Academic achievement is enhanced by energizing the body and the mind through sports and cultural activities. About the school  Abu Dhabi Indian School, which is a premier community school in the Gulf, could well be considered a twin of this youthful nation which came into being in the year 1971. The school began functioning in the year 1975 from the humble premises of the India Social Centre, Abu Dhabi, to cater to the needs of the children of the Indian community in Abu Dhabi. As the strength of students grew, the need for new premises became evident. Mr. Mohan Jashanmal, CEO of Jashanmal National Co. and members of the community were instrumental in approaching the late President of the UAE, H.H. Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan with this in view. He generously gifted a plot of land, measuring 175mx 150m, in Shabia Muroor, New Airport Road, to the Indian Ambassador to build an educational institution. The school was moved to the sprawling new premises in the year 1980. It has been functioning  effectively for the past 32 years and has distinguished itself in various areas. Our students have distinguished themselves in various fields and are well placed in life not only in India, but in different parts of the world. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India (C.B.S.E Delhi, India affiliation No. 66304) and is recognized and licensed by the Ministry of Education, Private Section, Abu Dhabi Zone. (Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.  License No: 37) The school prepares students for the All India Secondary School Exam at the end of grade 10 or 12 years of schooling and the All India School Senior Certificate Exam at the end of grade 12 or 14 years of schooling.      Application form to apply for teachers'  posts  in school   Candidates are required to fill in the form and submit it personally at the  school's office  along with the required documents. ( Incomplete forms will be rejected) Click to access the form
